Rev. Craig Niemeier

 

Pastor Craig Niemeier grew up on a farm near Holbrook, Nebraska and graduated from Elwood Public School in 1989.  After spending his first three years at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, he married his helpmate, Leticia (“Tish”), and moved with her to Omaha.  He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, receiving a B.A. in Communication in 1993.  From there, the couple moved to St. Louis in the summer of 1994.  Tish took a job at Express-Scripts while Pastor reaped the benefits of his studies at Concordia Seminary.  He was ordained and installed as Pastor of the dual parish of St. Paul’s Lutheran in Bridgeport, NE and Mt. Calvary Lutheran in Bayard, NE in 1998.  In 2006 they moved to their current location.

Pastor and Tish have four lovely daughters and two beautiful granddaughters:  Hannah, Nic, Ingrid and Solveig Rowan live in Washington D.C., Sarah and Chris Warneke in Arkansas City, Kansas, Emily in Worms, and Abby, soon to be married to Jacob Garrison, is currently a student at Concordia, Seward.  Tish works for Amur in Grand Island.  In addition to serving the saints  at Zion Lutheran Church in Worms, Pastor also serves as a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s Board for National Missions  In his free time, he likes to hike, hunt, fish, read, and watch Husker sports.
